OFFICIAL: Peugeot (PSA) and Fiat-Chrysler (FCA) have merged! – Expect French cars in America soon!
After a very short love story, the French Peugeot and the Italian-American Fiat-Chrysler are now officially married.
In other words, PSA has merged with FCA in a move that results in the world’s fourth largest car maker.
And like in any healthy marriage, each of the two formerly independent entities now has 50% of the power in the newly-formed FCA-PSA merger.
There’s no official name yet for the new company, but we do know that it will have its headquarters in the Netherlands, with head-office locations in France, Italy, and the US.
Now, in case you didn’t figure this out for yourself already, let me lend a helping hand. This is a big deal in the car world.
